Map apps are a feature every decent smartphone must have. Maps of course cannot show different locations on different brands, and here is that the other details play the decisive role of whether that map will be liked or no. Maps these days are turning into more of navigation assistance tools, but not only.  They can now remember your favorite place, like restaurants, cinemas, parking and so on.

One of the favorite maps is the Google Android Map. In its new version the Android Maps has a Navigation option (still in Beta though), Place and Latitude features. Navigation is a free GPS navigation tool now released with voice support. Places are the locations where the user would most probably visit most often also providing tools to find place, compare them and get advice on where to go for a specific activity (like cafes, bars, supermarkets and various attractions). Latitude helps find out where the friends (and husbands) at that particular moment are and also check in at some locations.

Moreover, now the Android Maps were updated to include a night mode, which allows the maps to adjust themselves automatically to the low light conditions, when traveling for example in a tunnel. So grab this free and very useful app, which is also void of annoying ads found in some apps.
