Google Android Market Issues

| August 11, 2011 | 0 Comments

Google Android Market has a strange problem — some companies’ ratings have decreased. And if it doesn’t sound as a really serious problem, let’s look a bit deeper, and we’ll see it is, at least for the developers affected.

So far the ratings and reviews are considered to be the main sources for the users to get acquainted with the applications due to the absence of any personal experience with the apps. And with the ratings decreased, no one will download the apps of those developers…

Besides, Android Market has another issue, too — the developers are being underpaid for the sales of their own apps.

It’s good that Google is already aware of the problems and is looking for solutions. But the dates for the fixes are not mentioned. This might be due to the fact that the causes of the issue are not revealed.

The only good news here is that the customers are not being affected by the payment issues, and the ordered applications  are just landing to the customers right on time.
