Samsung I7500 Android Smartphone expected to release in June

According to BamS (Bild am Sonntag), the first Android smartphone to be launched by Samsung would be the Samsung I7500 (pictured below). It awaits a June release.

It will be available with Vodafone and will be a touchscreen-only device, with a 3.2″ HVGA capacitive screen, running on Android 1.5 (cupcake). It’s powered by a Qualcomm MSM7200A CPU at 528 MHz and also sports a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. It would come with a 3.5 mm jack headset plug. According to some unofficial sources, I7500 will support quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as dualband UMTS/HSPA, Bluetooth, WIFI and GPS and will have 8 GB internal flash memory which can be expanded by microSD memory cards. O2 Germany will be its exclusive distributor in Germany.
