Except for the additional handset support the newest version of Skype gets a few enhancements. Now you can switch between landscape and portrait modes during video calls, and you can use the zooming function simply by double-tapping on the display of the handset. As for the commercial component, the newest version of Skype will introduce an advertising platform, which will not be shown only to those customers who have Skype Credit, Calling or Skype Premium Subscriptions.
The newest version of the application is already available. You can download it from the Android Market.
