Another company that is going the Android way is Eston. The company is planning to launch an Android powered MID very soon. This device will be named MID-02 slider, and will be available with French carrier SFR.
The device runs on Intel Atom Z500 at 800 MHz, 512 MB RAM, 4GB of SSD storage, a 4.3″ touchscreen and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. There are no details available regarding the release date or the pricing of the device.
Android provides one of the best browsing experiences to its users. So, when Android is coupled with an MID, it would not be wrong if we expect it to be one of the best MIDs in the market.

Android is undoubtedly the reigning king of the world of rumors. Everyday, we get tons of rumors about the not-so-old OS. This time it comes from Phillips. Some pictures of V808, the first Android powered mobile phone by the company has emerged. Here’s a sneak-peak at the Phillips device, which is claimed to be Android-powered:

The speculated ingredients of the dish are :
- 3.2″ Touchscreen
- HVGA (320×480 pixels) display
- 3.2MP camera
- Dimensions 115×61×14mm
The features seem quite impressive. But only time will tell, how much will actually materialize in times to come.

A big wave of netbooks running Google Android OS are going to make their debut at the end of this year (or early next year). The company, GNB will be joining the market of netbooks running Google Android OS.
Our netbook site, Gadgetmix.com, reports that keyboard as-well-as touchpad, both are pathetic to use on this netbook. Reason? It is too small for touch-typing and too big for thumb typing. Battery life is also nothing to talk home about: just 2 hours. It uses 533MHz Freescale ARM processor and comes with a 7-inch WVGA (800 x 480) touchscreen
I would instead get a T-Mobile G1 with extended battery!
